Mirrors of Eden MTA
A Contemporary Fantasy About Identity, Secrets, and Second Chances

About this book:

In the quiet, seemingly unchanging town of Eden Lake, guidance counselor Corey Bennett feels a profound sense of stagnation, both in his own life and in the community around him. This changes dramatically when he stumbles upon an antique mirror in the school basement. Unlike any ordinary reflection, this "Eden Glass" shows not one's physical appearance, but flashes of memories, secret wishes, and the haunting ghosts of paths left unexplored, forcing Corey to confront his own unfulfilled dreams. Terrified of the chaos it could unleash, Corey tries to keep the mirror a secret, but its power, once glimpsed by a sensitive student, begins to ripple through Eden Lake, exposing long-buried truths and igniting forgotten feuds among students, faculty, and townspeople alike.

As the mirror's unsettling influence spreads, transforming unspoken anxieties into public confrontations, Corey finds himself mediating a community on the brink. Old family secrets tied to the town's founding, revealed in a historical journal, expose the mirror's deeper connection to Eden Lake's very identity and its "hollow prosperity." The situation escalates with the arrival of "Shadow Keepers," an external, dangerous group seeking to control the mirror's power for their own ends. Faced with this dual threat, Eden Lake must collectively decide the mirror's fate: destroy it, conceal it, or bravely embrace its truth and forge a new, authentic future for themselves, illuminated by the painful but ultimately liberating reflections of the Eden Glass.
