The Infernal Heirloom MTA
A Supernatural Mystery Binding Family and Fate

About this book:

In "The Infernal Heirloom," Tessa Quinn reluctantly inherits the crumbling Quinn mansion in Briar Hollow, a place shrouded in whispers of curses and family scandal. A pragmatic antiques restorer, Tessa quickly discovers that her inheritance is far more than just a dilapidated estate when she unearths a peculiar clockwork locket. This device, left by her eccentric grandmother Elara, proves to be a conduit binding the tormented spirit of Eliza, a child from the Quinn past, to the mansion. As supernatural manifestations escalate from mournful whispers to violent threats, Tessa, aided by the quiet town historian Jude Faraday, embarks on a desperate quest to uncover the truth behind Eliza's restless spirit and break her family's centuries-old curse.

Their investigation delves deep into the Quinn family's dark history, revealing a chilling web of secrets involving a hidden love, a tragic death, and a devastating lie perpetuated by Eliza's own mother, Clara, to protect the family's reputation. But the truth extends even further back, exposing the locket's true origin: it was commissioned by Adelaide Quinn, a formidable ancestor, to contain the spirit of her sensitive sister, Lillian, initiating an "Ancestral Pact" of silence and suppression that has tormented the Quinn women for generations. As Tessa unbinds these trapped souls, she confronts the terrifying, living embodiment of this pact in her formidable great-aunt Eleanor, who is determined to re-establish the chilling control over the Quinn legacy and an ancient, elemental force of the land known as the Heart of Briar.

The thrilling climax sees Tessa directly confronting Eleanor, interrupting a dark ritual to re-bind the Heart of Briar. In a desperate act, Tessa becomes the living conduit for this primordial essence, containing its raw power within herself and a newly transformed locket. Having brought peace to the tormented spirits and shattered the ancestral pact, Tessa, now irrevocably connected to the land, begins the monumental task of physically restoring the mansion. With Jude as her steadfast partner, their bond deepening amidst shared danger and revelations, Tessa embarks on a new path, transforming her family's legacy from one of silence and suppression to one of truth, healing, and profound balance.
