Shadow of the Scarab MTA
An Ancient Prophecy and a Modern-Day Hunt

About this book:

In "Shadow of the Scarab," Dr. Alex Turner, a brilliant archaeologist, unearths a golden scarab in the Valley of the Kings, triggering an ancient prophecy that warns of global upheaval. This isn't merely an artifact; it's a living calendar, activating with celestial alignments and drawing the attention of powerful, clandestine organizations. Alex quickly finds himself pursued by the ruthless "Serpent's Shadow," a group intent on twisting the prophecy for global domination, and entangled with the enigmatic "Consortium for Ancient Egyptian Studies," who claim to be the true guardians of the Scarab’s benevolent purpose.

As Alex delves deeper, deciphering cryptic hieroglyphs and experiencing psychic messages, he uncovers a profound personal connection: his own lineage, through the eccentric explorer Sir Richard Thorne, is tied to the prophecy as the "Son of Thorne," the inheritor of an ancient oath sworn to Tutankhamun. This revelation propels him on a perilous journey from hidden chambers beneath Alexandria to the glittering, dangerous world of black-market auctions in Monaco, culminating in a showdown beneath the Great Pyramid. Alex must not only confront the Serpent's Shadow but also navigate the treacherous agendas of various "Guardians of the Flame," who seek to control the prophecy for their own vision of a "Reborn Kingdom." Empowered by the "Heart of Khepri" awakened within him, Alex learns to wield the Scarab's power to restore balance, not destroy, leading to a final, epic confrontation in a hidden Himalayan fortress. Ultimately, Alex embraces his destiny as the Guardian of the Reborn Kingdom, a new era of global harmony, forever balancing ancient wisdom with modern challenges.
