The Quiet Tenant MTA
A Chilling Tale of Secrets Behind Suburban Doors

About this book:

In the seemingly idyllic suburban haven of Halcyon Court, Amelia Grant seeks a fresh start after a painful divorce. To ease her financial burden and loneliness, she takes in a quiet, charming tenant named Blake Markham. While Blake quickly wins over the close-knit neighborhood with his helpful demeanor, Amelia begins to notice subtle inconsistencies and a chilling vagueness about his past, even as a palpable sense of unease begins to permeate the cul-de-sac. Strange occurrences, including a reclusive neighbor's fierce protectiveness over a mysterious buried pouch and hushed rumors of an argument, hint at deeper secrets lurking beneath the perfectly manicured lawns.

The neighborhood's fragile peace shatters when the elegant and meticulously private Eleanor Vance vanishes without a trace, leaving behind a perplexing note and a chilling silence. As police descend on Halcyon Court, dismissing Amelia's unsettling observations and growing suspicious of Blake, Amelia and her enigmatic tenant are drawn into a clandestine investigation. They uncover dark truths about the reclusive Mr. Finch's academic past and a terrifying diary that reveals a horrifying, sentient artifact, believed to absorb human life. When Eleanor Vance reappears, revealing herself as a calculating manipulator who orchestrated her own disappearance and used the artifact for her monstrous ambitions, Amelia and Blake find themselves trapped with a serial killer and an insatiable entity, forcing them to confront an unthinkable pact and a truth that will forever change the quiet suburban street.
