The Forgetting Hour MTA
A Psychological Thriller of Secrets, Lies, and Lost Time

About this book:

In *The Forgetting Hour*, architect Casey Harper awakens to a terrifying mystery: a crimson stain on her blouse, a pounding headache, and no memory of the past twelve hours. As local police investigate the disappearance of her neighbor, Elena Tremaine, fear closes in. Every fragmented clue—from cryptic notes in her planner to an unsettling call from her best friend—points to Casey's inexplicable blackout and a growing suspicion that she might be involved. When a chilling call from the powerful founder of her architectural firm, Rex Sterling, hints at Elena's "problematic" interest in their downtown development, Casey's perfect life begins to unravel, forcing her to confront the unsettling possibility that her fiancé, Evan, might be hiding a sinister truth.

Driven by a desperate need to reclaim her lost time, Casey unearths a shocking conspiracy involving Sterling & Associates, a decades-old environmental crime, and a hidden underground water system. As she navigates a labyrinth of betrayal and deceit, she discovers a meticulous Elena Tremaine, armed with damning evidence, was silenced by ruthless forces. But the truth is more complex—and horrifying—than she could have imagined, involving a second murder, a lookalike, and a meticulously staged cover-up designed to frame Casey herself. With the help of a tenacious private investigator, Elias Vance, Casey must piece together the final, chilling details of her forgotten hour, culminating in a perilous confrontation that unearths the ultimate secret and exposes a family empire built on lies and murder.
