Echoes of the Painted Vale MTA
A Fantasy Adventure of Lost Kingdoms and Forbidden Magic

About this book:

In a world where magic is feared and a tyrannical lord rules with an iron fist, an unassuming orphan named Kaelin discovers he possesses a forbidden gift: the ability to wield "art-magic," manifesting colors that can shape reality. Haunted by a mysterious indigo birthmark and vivid dreams, Kaelin is thrust into a perilous journey when an accidental display of his power exposes him as a target. Rescued by Meriel, an enigmatic elder of the long-lost Painted Vale, Kaelin learns of an ancient prophecy and a catastrophic force slumbering beneath the earth, tied to his unique gift and an insidious, corrupted magic known as Dissonance.

As Kaelin trains in the hidden Artists’ Sanctuary, mastering his power to both create and unmake, he uncovers a deeper plot by the Dissonants to unleash the slumbering force, threatening to plunge the world into ultimate chaos. Alongside newfound allies—a cynical thief, a disillusioned guard, and the defiant Balance Keepers—Kaelin must confront the Dissonants and Lord Darric’s oppressive regime. In a climactic battle, Kaelin makes the ultimate sacrifice, weaving his very essence into the heart of the Vale to re-bind the catastrophic power and protect both the hidden sanctuary and the fractured world beyond. Though profoundly transformed, Kaelin’s legacy lives on as his spirit guides a final, breathtaking act of art-magic, a painting across the sky that awakens hope and begins the arduous journey of healing a world that had forgotten its true colors.
