A Novel

About this book:

In the chilly heart of Moscow and on the sun-kissed shores of the Black Sea, a faded red bikini holds the key to a decades-old secret that could shake Russia to its core. Anya Petrova, a textile designer from Kyiv, finds her ordinary life upended when a mysterious client commissions her to find and authenticate a peculiar piece of swimwear. What begins as a curious assignment quickly spirals into a dangerous game of espionage and historical intrigue, as Anya discovers the bikini is not just vintage fashion, but a vessel for a complex, ancient textile language—a hidden code woven into its very fabric by her own enigmatic great-aunt.

As Anya races against time to decipher the bikini’s message, she is drawn into a clandestine world of powerful figures, forgotten Soviet-era projects, and a hidden network of those who value truth above all else. With the help of Arkady Volkov, a sophisticated and secretive information broker, and a surprising, enigmatic ally known as 'The Swan,' Anya navigates a perilous path from hidden safe houses and treacherous encounters to the forgotten depths of the Russian underground. Their quest leads to the discovery of a vast, illicit operation built on a hidden resource and sustained by a powerful elite, all while being pursued by relentless adversaries who will stop at nothing to keep the truth buried.

"The Russian Bikini" is a thrilling tale of coded secrets, unexpected loyalties, and the enduring power of truth.
