Among the Ashes MTA
A Post-Apocalyptic Journey of Hope, Survival, and Redemption

About this book:

Two years after a mysterious "Flash" plunged the world into darkness and chaos, seventeen-year-old Mia and her younger brother, Max, cling to survival in the crumbling ruins of a city. Their desperate search for safety leads them on a perilous journey through a post-apocalyptic wasteland, driven by whispers of a distant sanctuary known as Elysium. Along the way, they face brutal scavengers, mutated creatures, and the constant threat of starvation, relying only on each other and Mia’s fierce determination.

Their path intersects with unlikely allies: Elara, a pragmatic and battle-hardened survivor; Silas, an eccentric old scholar obsessed with uncovering the truth behind the Flash; and Jax, a quiet, watchful young man with a haunted past. Bound by necessity, this diverse group confronts the treacherous Salt Flats, violent human factions like the Harvesters, and the chilling reality of Elysium itself—a place far from a haven, harboring a terrifying secret that links back to the world's demise.

As they uncover the devastating truth behind the Flash and the forces still at play, Mia is forced to confront unimaginable dangers and make heartbreaking sacrifices. With newfound strength and purpose, she must become more than just a survivor, taking on a fight for the future of humanity itself. "Among the Ashes" is a gripping tale of survival, the enduring power of hope, the complexities of trust in a broken world, and the resilience of the human spirit determined to rise from the ashes and build anew.
