Shadow Over Ravenshill MTA
A Small Town Mystery Wrapped in Secrets and Lies

About this book:

Mara Davison returns to her small, secret-laden hometown of Ravenshill after her journalism career implodes. Seeking refuge and a chance to rebuild, she finds herself drawn into the mysterious death of Andrew Caldwell, a beloved former teacher. While the police quickly rule it an accident, Mara's journalistic instincts, dulled but not extinguished, sense a deeper, darker truth lurking beneath the surface of this seemingly peaceful community.

As Mara begins to investigate, she uncovers a decades-old web of secrets connected to Caldwell’s death and the disappearance of a young woman named Willow Vance thirty years prior. With the help of a reluctant former friend and an aging former deputy, she unearths chilling connections between Willow's vanishing, a powerful local family, and the town's seemingly incorruptible Sheriff. Holding a hidden locket and a cryptic ledger, Mara realizes Caldwell was on the verge of exposing a truth the town has buried for decades, a truth that reaches into the highest echelons of power and influence.

But digging into Ravenshill’s past is a dangerous game. As Mara gets closer to the truth, she finds herself in the crosshairs of those determined to keep the secrets buried. Facing threats, intimidation, and personal attacks that drag her own family's tragic history into the spotlight, Mara must confront the terrifying reality that the monster she's hunting is closer than she thinks, and that the shadows over Ravenshill are willing to silence anyone who dares to bring the past into the light.
