The Whispering Isle MTA
A Tale of Mysteries and Hidden Magic

About this book:

In the heart of a bustling city, Freya McKenna finds herself adrift, her life a monotonous cycle of unfulfilled dreams and urban noise. A sudden, unexpected inheritance—a remote cottage on a mysterious Scottish island called Caladhain—offers her a chance at escape. What begins as a search for solace quickly transforms into an extraordinary quest when Freya discovers her cottage holds ancient secrets, including a hidden journal from her great-aunt Flora and a tarnished silver locket with a cryptic Gaelic word, "Séanadh." She soon learns she’s descended from a long line of Seers and is the key to breaking a centuries-old curse that has silenced the island’s vibrant magic.

Guided by the island's wise, old women and the charming local historian, Jamie, Freya embarks on a journey to Caladhain’s places of power—from the treacherous Moonstone Cave, site of an ancient betrayal, to the restorative healing spring and the memory-laden Oldest Tree. As she connects with the island’s energies, her own dormant magical "gift" awakens, revealing visions of her ancestor Elara and the true meaning of "Séanadh": not merely a curse, but a distortion of the island’s very soul. She must not only mend this magical rift but also confront the descendants of those who betrayed Elara, who now seek to maintain their power by keeping Caladhain’s magic suppressed. This enthralling tale blends ancestral legacy, burgeoning romance, and a fierce battle for the heart of a magical isle.
