Shadow of the Eternal MTA
A Fantasy Epic of Forgotten Realms and Hidden Powers

About this book:

In the tranquil village of Stillwater, Laila Alwen, a humble herbalist, stumbles upon the Orb of Aethel, an ancient artifact that awakens dormant magic within her and draws the attention of the malevolent Shadow. As her village burns and dark forces hunt her, Laila is thrust onto a perilous quest, guided by the enigmatic sorcerer Kael and joined by the fierce huntress Lyra and the stoic warrior Gareth. Their journey across Eldoria takes them through cursed lands and hidden realms, battling increasingly powerful Shadow Lieutenants as Laila learns to master the Orb's immense power, awaken six ancient conduits of elemental magic, and unravel the prophecy of the legendary Eternal.

However, Laila soon uncovers a devastating truth: awakening the Eternal requires her ultimate sacrifice, a destiny laid out by the Elder Mages centuries ago. Refusing to accept this grim fate, Laila and her companions embark on a desperate search for primordial relics—the Whisper-Spire, Tears of the Mountain Spirit, and Sunstone of the Giants—hoping their combined power can offer an alternative. Their quest culminates in a climactic battle against the Lord of Shadows itself, forcing Laila to confront her deepest fears and the insidious temptations of darkness. Ultimately, she forges a new path, activating the Eternal with the relics' power, defying the ancient prophecy, and saving not only Eldoria from eternal night but also herself from a terrible sacrifice.
