Count your Yes answers. If you have more than five, you likely have multiple dams, and the founder is probably one of them. If you have more than ten, your business is a “founder-dependent hero shop,” which means growth is making you less happy, not more. Don’t panic. You now have a list of clues. These Yes answers map directly to places where a simple checklist, a one-page SOP, or a clear handoff would relieve pressure. For instance, if “We wait on a single person for approvals” is a Yes, that’s a decision rights problem.
